Peterborough Newcomers is open to men and women, both individuals and couples, new to Peterborough and area. We get together to learn about the community, meet others with common interests, organize social activities and make new friends. Before joining Newcomers’, visitors may attend two monthly meetings and are welcome to join at any time during the year.
The Club is non-denominational, non-profit, does not fund-raise or promote private business. Our club was established in 1972 and is a member of the national Newcomers’ Council of Canada. Their website is www.nationalnewcomerscouncil.ca There are 58 clubs across Canada.
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. For September, October, November, March, April and May, we meet at 7:30pm (Doors open at 7:00pm). During January and February, we meet at 2:00pm (Doors open at 1:30pm). We meet at Westdale United Church which is at 1509 Sherbrooke Street. The parking is at the rear. Please enter at the double-door, canopied entrance.
The annual dues are $20.00 per person. We have many exciting activities and all members are welcome to join in
